It’s hurricane season in Northwest Florida.. Which means a lot of wedding plans get changed! This last weekend this stunning bride and groom (who had just went through Irma in South Florida) traveled up to Okaloosa Island to celebrate their marriage – only to be met by Hurricane Nate. They didn’t let this ruin their big day! Everything got moved inside so we made great use of the balconies and overhangs. They still got to overlook the gulf during their ceremony and everyone enjoyed being dry in the AC! I can’t even tell you how happy I am for these two, and I know that flexibility and ability to laugh at tough situations will help them be an amazing husband and wife team!
Isn’t she just absolutely beautiful? I don’t think I have a single picture where she isn’t smiling!!
The dance floor got plenty of use, from the kiddos all the way up to the grandparents!
“Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add color to my sunset sky.” – Rabindranath Tagore
Our formal pictures got interrupted by a band of rain – but as we were running as fast as we could to get back inside, we passed the beach entrance.. So I called Kyle & Heather back to grab a quick shot in the doorway under and overhang! I love that they trusted me to be creative and I think it tells the story of their wedding day all in one picture! This was such a fun wedding and I look forward to hearing where life takes you two! Congratulations!!!
